High productivity, performance and flexibility
The CREO Color Sever brings simplicity and a user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI) to Océ customers. It also extends their production, so the operators can begin turning out flawless prints immediately. Powerful management tools provide complete control over the print jobs with easy monitoring and tracking. Virtual printer parameters and drag-and-drop hot folders channel the job flow, while retaining predefined job settings. The performance is further increased with instantly retrievable ready-to-print (RTP) files that allow the operators to make last-minute corrections without re-RIPping.
Optimum color and image quality
The CREO Color Server is designed for the Océ CS600 Series and supports its high definition toner, optimizes the color gamut and ensures truly spectacular results. The users gain both superior default color settings and advanced color management tools.
Seamless connectivity to graphic arts workflow
The CREO Color Server can process pre-separated or even rasterized files created for offset and prints them digitally. It seamlessly connects to workflow management systems such as KODAK PRINERGY and KODAK BRISQUE Workflow Systems and to many other workflow management systems via the PODS Workflow Partnership Program. Seamless connectivity starts with web-based job submission. Océ customers can submit jobs via Océ PRISMAweb directly to their Creo-controlled Océ CS6xx system.
Powerful VDP capabilities
The CREO Color Server processes even the most complex color VDP jobs at high speed. The PODS VDP Partnership Program ensures tested connectivity between CREO Color Servers and the broadest array of leading VDP solutions and formats, including Variable Print Specification (VPS), PPML, PDF and ADOBE POSTSCRIPT. With the CREO Color Server’s Gallop mode, users can shorten the process by starting to print a long VDP job while still RIPping. The element-based RIP accelerates throughput. Each element is RIPped only once but can be reused many times. The exclusive fusion board increases efficiency by merging VDP elements and building pages during printing.
